Frequently asked questions

What is Play Cabinet?

A collection of 50 browser games under one roof: board games, card games, casino, puzzles, arcade, sport and strategy. All of them run in the browser with no download and share one profile with chips, lives, diamonds, achievements and daily quests.

Do the games cost anything?

No. All 50 games are completely free, with no ads, no paywall and no purchases. You earn chips and diamonds by playing and spend them in the shop on motifs and skins.

Do I have to register?

You create a profile with a name and a PIN so that progress can be told apart. That data never leaves your browser: there is no server storing it and no email address is asked for.

Which devices does Play Cabinet run on?

Anything with a current browser – Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. The interface grows with the screen. Games that use arrow keys do need a keyboard.

Can I play against the computer?

Yes, in nearly every game. Chess searches with minimax and alpha-beta pruning, the card games have robots with their own styles, and every game offers four difficulty levels.

What are achievements and daily quests for?

Achievements reward particular feats with chips and experience, and daily quests give you three fresh goals every day. Both feed the same profile, whichever of the 50 games you happen to be playing.

Is Play Cabinet available in German?

Yes. The whole site, every game title, all rules and all achievements exist in English and German. You can switch the language at any time in the top right corner; the German pages live under /de.

Can I change my motifs and skins?

Yes. In the shop you buy over 300 motifs with chips – symbols for tic tac toe, discs for connect four, food and animals for snake, motif worlds for memory. You can switch them inside the game itself.
